Made out of 100 % Organic Cotton handwoven, unbleached,100% natural fiber.
Our Organic Cotton bags are GOTS certified and also certified by the Khadi & Village Industry Commission Board of India. GOTS stands for Global Organic Textile Standard an independent organization that makes sure that the cotton is sourced in the most ethical and sustainable way from the seed to the stitch. To be GOTS certified, the factory has to use environmentally friendly equipment and dyes. They also need to purify the water before draining it ( in the case of our bags they are not dyed they are natural color). Next to meeting production standards the factories are also checked if they comply with social standards during the farming of the cotton and the production of the fabrics. This includes a ban on child labour, a set minimum wage and safe working environments.
